IBST Limited, Nigeria’s leading Digital Video Production Company, has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director and creative Director. Ayodeji Tobun will be taking over as Managing Director from 1st February 2021, alongside Adeyemi Ogunpitan who becomes Creative Director of the company.
Tobun; who will be taking over from Remi Ogunpitan, the founder and Managing Director of the company; has been the Executive Producer of IBST for the past 4 years, and has spent more than 7 years at IBST, where he has been instrumental in redefining the goals and service offerings of the business. He has been responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients that include MTN, Turner Creative, BBC and IBST’s many local and international clients.
He is a graduate of Lagos State University, and has attended courses and conferences on the audio visual industry in the United States of America and UAE. He is an alumnus of New York Film Academy and also a certified integrated marketing communications professional.
He will bring on board his vast production knowledge and experience. It is envisaged that his skills and talent will redefine IBST’s associated businesses in the area of content applications and platforms, amongst many other responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Adeyemi Ogunpitan has been a producer with IBST for more than 6 years. He attended Manchester Metropolitan and Babcock University. He has attended many courses at the London Film School, and conferences in Holland. He will be responsible for creating, developing and growing the creative remit of the business with special focus on building IBST’s numerous digital content offerings.
