Coca-Cola Nigeria Elevates Omomeda Ashofor To Senior Managerial Position

The Coca-Cola Company has promoted media expert, Omomeda Ashofor, to the position of Media Consumer and Shopper Senior Manager. Prior to his promotion, he was the Connections and Media Manager for the company.
In his new role he will lead the development of connections plans across brands and campaigns, recommending allocation of activation DME to different consumer and shopper touchpoints among others responsibilities.
Omomeda is an experienced media professional with a demonstrated history of exceptional work in the marketing and advertising industry. He is also skilled in marketing management, media strategy, digital strategy, negotiation and general management.
He started his career at The Coca-Cola Company as the Media Manager while is media career started off at mediaReach OMD where he was the Manager, Media Planning Services, before he was elevated to Manager, Research and Technology.
After his exploit at mediaReach OMD, he joined Capital Media Limited Nigeria as Head, Media Strategy and Planning, and few years later; he was promoted to Director, Media Strategy and Implementation.
Thereafter, he joined Airtel Nigeria as Senior Manager, Media Operations and later moved to UM Nigeria as General Manager where he was responsible for strategic management and decision making impacting revenue generation, staff and manpower development for the company. It was after he left UM Nigeria that he joined The Coca-Cola Company.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ibadan and he is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He also holds many other certifications.
