NIMN Holds Virtual Town Hall Meeting August 29

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has concluded plans to host a virtual town hall meeting with its President, Idorenyen Enang, on Sunday 29th August 2021by 5pm via zoom.
The institute disclosed that the purpose of the meeting tagged “A Virtual Town Hall Meeting with The President” is for the executives of the association to interact with members and share with them the strategic direction the council under the leadership of Enang wants to take the institute.
The president announcing the event wrote on his social media handles, “I am inviting you to a virtual town hall meeting this Sunday, 29th August 2021, by 5pm via zoom.
“The purpose of the meeting is to update you on the state of affairs and strategic initiatives that are about to unfold in order to move the institute forward.
“The meeting will also provide members with the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification from the leadership on issues concerning the institute.”
Recall, Enang, emerged President of the Institute at its AGM held this year where he reiterated his commitment to take the body to global height.
Enang’s remarkable leadership skills and service in the course of his career has placed him strongly on the global stage. He was elected into the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) where he served as Regional Vice President for Africa. He served alongside other Chief Marketing Officers and Chief Executives of Fortune 500 companies between 2011 and March 2016.
He is also a former President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria, a Past Chairman of the Heads of Advertising Sectorial Group; and a former council member of APCON (the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria), that regulates the practice of Advertising in Nigeria. He also sits on the Advisory Boards of Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF) and Strap & Safe Child Foundation as the Chair.
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is the body for professionals engaged in marketing and related fields as marketing practitioners, sales and marketing directors, customer relationship managers, media planners, channel developers, creative directors, value builders, trade marketing managers, commercial managers/directors, brand builders, entrepreneurs, enterprise builders, corporate and institutional governors, transformers, marketing and mass communication experts, general managers, and Chief Executive Officers.
The Institute was established by Act of the National Assembly no. 25 0f 2003 with a chartered status conferred on it, the responsibility to regulate and standardize marketing professional practice through the conduct of comprehensive professional examinations and certifications, training, retraining and consultancy services geared towards ensuring that members adopt a professional approach to marketing and other related areas of marketing activities.
