The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) in partnership with Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) has announced that its annual Health Walk will hold on Saturday, October 16th, 2021.
MIPAN on its social media handle said the event aims to create awareness on kidney failure in the society.
According to the association, “On Saturday, October 16th, 2021, OOAN and MIPAN’s annual health walk kicks off!
“This is to show support and bring awareness to this health condition and get to know the causes, symptoms, early warnings and different five stages for kidney failure.”
The statement continued: “Research shows that appropriate exercise is beneficial for the kidneys.
“Come out in your favorite sneakers and join us by 7:30am at LTV grounds, Agindingbi, Ikeja to Police College grounds, Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA.”
Meanwhile, OAAN on its social media handle urged people to come prepared to walk against kidney failure, “You are allowed to scream, allowed to cry, but do not give up.”
