Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) is set to host its 2021 edition of its annual Patrons Day Celebrations on Tuesday 19th October. Also, DStv Nigeria has been announced as the main sponsor of the event.
The event commences from 12pm to 5pm at The Sheba Event Center, No. 20, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way Ikeja and according to the organisers it is open to all players in the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) industry, including media vendors and brand owners where MIPAN will treat its staff, management, stakeholders, friends, and family to a funfair.
The MIPAN Patrons Day is a day set aside for the media independent industry to unwind and celebrate the forerunners of the profession.
According to the association in a statement released on its social media, “Join us as we celebrate our patrons at the One Media 3.0 event at the One Media 3.0 event on Tuesday, 19th October 2021 by 12pm-5pm.
“We’ll be celebrating Patron Day at Sheba Centre, 20 Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way.
“Come ready to take part in fun and exciting games and activities like snooker, pool and ping pong. There’s surely an activity we can all be winners at.
“With Special guests in attendance, including Alhaji Garba Bello Kankarofi, Mr. Ayo Oluwatosin, Chief Mrs Iquo Ukoh, Mr. George Thorpe and Dr. Biodun Sobanjo , it’s surely going to be an eventful day.
This would be the sixth time that DStv via its Media Sales arm will be sponsoring the event.

The event which is in its 6th instalment this year kicks off at noon on Tuesday, October 19 at The Sheba Event Center, No. 20, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja; and is open to all players in the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) industry, including media vendors and brand owners.

MIPAN Patrons’ Day is organized by MIPAN member agencies, aimed at bringing all stakeholders, management & staff together under a fun, relaxed and sporting atmosphere. It is also an avenue to network and to celebrate the forerunners of the profession (Patrons) who are either retired or are partially retired.
