Michael Ashakah Pitches Tent With Isobar As Senior Client Service Manager

Seasoned Marketing professional, Michael Ashakah has joined creative experience giants, Isobar Nigeria as Senior Client Service Manager.

In his new position, Michael is expected to act as a liaison between Isobar Nigeria’s creative efforts and advertisers’ needs, He will also be bringing onboard experiences gathered over the years to build and maintain relationships with top executives of client businesses among other responsibilities.

Michael who has earned a reputation as an engaging brand storyteller and the astute business driver was at SO&U for close to half a decade. He had joined the Opebi Lagos-based creative advertising group as a Senior Executive in 2017, rising steadily to the position of Brand Manager before his exit.

Prior to that, he was at the Etu-Odi where he wore the hat of a Client Service Executive. This was not before he cut his teeth in the agency business at CentrespreadGrey as an Assistant Account Executive in 2015. Michael has also had experience working on the client side of business having had a brief stint in the banking sector at the First City Monument Bank.

An alumnus of the University of Benin with a Degree in Linguistics and Africa Languages, Michael trained as a Marketing Communication Professional at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK), and also at the Institute of Customer Relationship Management (ICRM), Lagos.

He joins Isobar Nigeria, a member of the Dentsu Aegis Network, in delivering market-leading campaigns, strategies, and experiences for clients in Nigeria, central West, and East Africa, among others.
