Dentsu Appoints Ajayi Eyitayo As Platform Specialist, Global Media Systems

Dentsu International has appointed consummate digital strategist, media and marketing professional, Ajayi Eyitayo as its Platform Specialist, Global Media Systems.
Prior to his appointment, he was the Business Lead Digital at MediaReach OMD (a member of the Omnicom Media Group).
In his new role at Dentsu, he will be overseeing the relationship, integration, and ongoing strategic alignment of third-party media systems and suppliers across multiple markets.
Ajayi is a media and marketing expert with experience across; Digital Marketing, Media Strategy and Planning, Advertising, Marketing Communication, and Business development with a background in identifying, creating, and marketing technology businesses that engage and drive customer engagement.
His vast experience also cut across creating performance-driven marketing strategies and digital solutions for international mega brands including Lufthansa, Heineken, Legend Extra stout, Huawei Mobile, Nestel (Maggi, Nescafe, Golden Morn), Transsion Holdings West Africa (Tecno, infinix and Itel mobile), Malta Guinness, Tiger brand/Dangote, Mondelez International (Bournvita & Clorets), Globacom, Airtel, Letshego, First-Ally (Moinnow), and helping several small and medium businesses to leverage digital to grow their businesses.
When he was at MediaReach OMD, he was responsible for the management of business operations and marketing campaigns across digital channels among others. Before that, he was at Webcoupers. as the company’s Head of Business and Media Investment where he was instrumental in the growth of the company.
He started his career at Mindshare as Executive Digital Marketing and later moved to mediaReach OMD as Executive media Planner in the early stage of his career before he moved to other notable agencies and brands to occupy other key positions. Some of the other companies he worked for are Bytesize, Sponge limited, Transsion Holdings, and Webcoupers.
Ajayi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from Covenant University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the same University.
He also holds several licenses and certifications which include: CDMP8.0 – Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital marketing institute; CAM Diploma in Marketing Communication from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is also a certified Project Manager from CompTIA & Scrum Master.
