MIPAN 2022 Annual General Meeting Holds August 10 In Lagos

The umbrella body of all media agencies in Nigeria, Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), a body that has been at the forefront of advertising and marketing communications is set to hold its annual general meeting on Wednesday the 10th of August 2022 at the Marriot Hotel Ikeja, Lagos.
Established to develop and improve professional media services in Nigeria, MIPAN 2022 AGM will bring together members from the Advertising Industry and Media Planning and Buying agencies consisting of the existing members of the association and intending members who will be inducted at the occasion.
The Executive President of Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Mr. Femi Adelusi, while explaining the association’s preparedness and expectations from members towards the meeting stated that “efforts are in place to maximize the day to the fullest, members are therefore enjoined to turn out early so as not to be left out”.
Speaking about the upcoming event, the Executive Secretary of the association, Mr. Eki Adzufeh stated that, “the AGM will be packed with both business and fun! So all stakeholders are enjoined to save the date”.
Also commenting on the AGM, the chairman of the MIPAN 2022 AGM Sponsorship Committee, Mr. Rotimi Bankole revealed that “in line with the vision of the new Executive Council of repositioning the association as a body to be reckoned with, this year’s AGM is scaled up to ensure maximum professionalism and full technical supports for its existing and new members.
According to him, “the occasion will be utilized by MIPAN Executives to assess how the body has fared in time past and to proffer strategic options of moving forward and ensuring excellent service delivery by MIPAN members to its various stakeholders.
“All representatives of different member agencies and those to be inducted would be reminded of the ethics of the body amongst other activities,” Rotimi said.
MIPAN was established with an agenda to develop and improve the media advertising function in Nigeria by paying close attention to the discipline with a view to offer quantitative value to the industry. Encourage the entrenchment of merit-based reward systems in the media advertising function in order to ensure continuous improvement as well as facilitate the advertising industry in Nigeria.
