Award-winning marketing professional, Samuel Akinrimisi has joined Cway Food & Beverages Nigeria Limited as its Deputy Marketing Director.
The appointment which became effective this January will see Akinrimisi join the marketing efforts at CWAY to drive sales, TOMA, among other deliverables.
Prior to joining CWAY, Samuel was the Category & Marketing Communications Lead at HPZ Limited (PZ Cussons Nig. Plc) where he planned and executed annual marketing plans and initiatives in line with the company’s overall strategic direction, developed and executed proactive media engagement plans, media outreaches, drafted media materials, and worked closely with the communications agencies to roll out nation-wide campaigns among a host of others.
Taking to his LinkedIn page to announce his new role, Samuel wrote, “Hello LinkedIn Family. I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Deputy Marketing Director at Cway Food & Beverages Nig. Co. Ltd! In his new position, Samuel will be working closely with his team to chart the marketing direction for the CWAY brands.
Samuel’s illustrious career which spans above 13 years traverses around sales, marketing, and business development with indelible track records.
Prior to joining HPZ Limited, Samuel was the Brand Manager (Good Mama Detergent & Special Projects) at Eko Supreme Resources Nig. Ltd. He rose to the position of a Business Development Manager role.
Last year at the prestigious ADVAN Marketing Awards for Excellence, he emerged winner in the Brand Manager of the Year category, beating strong competition to clinch the coveted title.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Akoko, Ondo State. He then proceeded to the University of Lagos, Akoka, for an MBA in Marketing.
