MultiChoice, owner of DStv and GOtv has announced that it will now air all 52 matches of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire live beginning from Saturday, 13 January, 2024.

This was made known on Wednesday through X app formerly called Twitter, @DstvNg announced that it will broadcast all 52 matches on Supersports.

“🇳🇬No gree for anybody! Watch all 52 matches of the #afcon2023    on @supersports,” it tweeted.

In a former report, MultiChoice had last week said SuperSport channel on DSTV would not be able to broadcast the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament live because it failed to secure the broadcasting rights of the continent’s biggest footballing event.

“SuperSport Channel will not broadcast the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 scheduled for January 13th – February 11th, 2024, because the channel has not secured the rights to broadcast the tournament.

“However, AFCON 2023 games will be available through our partner broadcast stations on Free to Air (FTA) channels,” MultiChoice had said.
