Marketing and communications specialist, Kevin Olumese joins Routelink Group as Group Head, Corporate Communications and Marketing.
Routelink Group, an indigenous company established in 2012, has been at the fore-front of pushing innovative technological solutions and driving digital transformation across industries in Nigeria. Routelink Group is the parent company of RoutePay Fintech, Routelink Enterprise Solutions and Routelink Telecoms. Kevin will lead Marketing and Corporate communications for the group and it’s subsidiaries.
Before joining Routelink, Kevin served as the Marketing Manager at Advantage Health Africa, an indigenous health tech company, where he helped with the product design, audience identification and launch an exciting new healthcare delivery service that’s set to revolutionize the healthcare sector for the underserved in Nigeria.
Kevin also worked as Senior Marketing Manager at PalmPay Limited where he led strategies to transform a negative brand perception and increase user acquisition. After 13 months of heading marketing and communications at PalmPay, the brand had gained over 10 million new users on it’s payment platform and almost 1 million users on social media pages, these feats led Kevin to be recognised as ‘Brand Manager of the year 2023’ and ‘Top 35 under 35 Marketing Professionals in Nigeria 2023’ by Nigerian Marketing Awards and Brand Communicator Magazine respectively.
With over 11 years experience in marketing and communications, Kevin has also successfully led marketing teams in various industries, including roles as Head of Marketing at DealDey (Ecommerce), Marketing Communications and Public Relations Manager at Infinix Nigeria (OEM).
Kevin holds a masters degree in International Marketing and Management from Robert Gordon University, UK, and a bachelors degree in Economics from University of Lagos.
Kevin will head marketing strategy and execution for the launch and long term marketing success of Routelink Group’s payments and mobile arms, RoutePay and FestMobile respectively. Kevin will also lead strategies for brand awareness and corporate patronage for Routelink Enterprise Solutions.
