Abisodun Hassan Oshikoya Elevated To Category Manager, Rising Stars Position At FMN

Marketing professional and one of Brandcom 2024 Top 35 Under 35 professionals, Abisodun Hassan Oshikoya has been elevated to the position of Category Manager, Rising Stars at Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN).

Before now, he was Brand Manager of the same company where he developed and implemented long term and short term plans (Tactics) and strategies to grow brand in order to increase market share and sales revenue for FMN’ Rising Star brands.

With a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in brand building and stakeholder management.

Since joining Flour Mills, Adisodun has effectively driven growth in the oils and fats category, achieving an impressive 45% growth in the Rising Star Category. His strategic mindset, combined with his ability to generate consumer insights has been pivotal in enhancing brand visibility and market share.

Abisodun career journey started as Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Osun State University where he was responsible for working in a team of professionals in performing various managerial and resource management responsibilities as well as gaining valuable experience in reporting and documenting of information.

He also served as Brand Manager and Marketing Lead at Saroafrica International Limited where he promoted team building, led team effort with regards to recruiting, interviewing, and training of interns/graduate trainees.

He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Physiology, and Crop Production from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as well as a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Obafemi Awolowo Univerisity.
