Experienced brand management professional, Ogechukwu Udeagha has been appointed as General Manager, Public & Government Affairs at Seplat Energy, one of Nigeria’s leading energy suppliers.
Prior his appointment, he was Exxon Mobil’s Regional Communications Manager, Africa where he was focused on promoting a balanced narrative that encourages the urgent drive for investments in the sector.
Ogechukwu is an experienced strategic media, communications, brand management, marketing and public affairs leader with a record of leading multimarket teams to deliver strong results for leading brands in telecommunications, manufacturing, financial services and oil and gas industries.
His career journey started at Reltel Wireless as Head, Corporate Communications, he then moved to Dangote Industries Limited as Head, Brand Management. He also served at First Bank of Nigeria Plc as Head, Brand Management where he was charged with the responsibilities of drawing up, implementing and evaluating strategies for managing the corporate and product brands across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
He also served as Head of Stakeholder Management, First Bank of Nigeria where he worked with both banking and non-banking subsidiaries to develop and manage strategic marketing plans..
Udeagha has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Science in Media and Communication from the School of Media and Communication, Pan-African University.
