The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced that its next induction into the Institute has been scheduled for September 12, 2025, and the induction mode will be hybrid.

The institute has called on interested public relations practitioners who wish to be part of the induction programme to visit its website to begin their application process.

According to the institute, the deadline for application has been fixed for 11:59pm September 8, 2025, and late entries shall be treated against the December 2025 cycle.

Recall that the institute inducted 605 new members into the profession at its Diamond Anniversary held at Abuja. 353 inductees joined online, and 198 attended in person

At the induction, the NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaku, noted that the induction aims to emphasize professionalism and end quackery in Public Relations and emphasized the need for qualified individuals to speak for organizations.

The inductees were largely drawn from the media spectrum as a way of strengthening effective collaborative efforts between NIPR and members of the media in shaping public discourse. They were tasked to join efforts in creating a new narrative for Nigeria and guarding our nation’s reputation.
