Access Bank has unveiled Detty Fusion, a new consumer engagement and social impact initiative designed to give Nigerians seamless access to curated lifestyle, entertainment, and cultural experiences throughout the peak festive season.

The initiative forms part of the bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy to strengthen Nigeria’s creative and SME ecosystem by spotlighting selected small businesses, creative entrepreneurs, event organisers, and service providers.

Positioned as a first-of-its-kind curated festive experience platform, Detty Fusion will bring together verified partners across entertainment, mobility, hospitality, wellness, and lifestyle sectors.

Speaking ahead of the official unveiling, Ishmael Nwokocha, Head of Mobility at Access Bank, highlighted the bank’s commitment to enhancing festive experiences while empowering businesses.

“Every December, Nigerians look forward to moments that foster joy, connection, and celebration. With Detty Fusion, Access Bank is empowering customers to discover and engage with verified festive experiences safely, conveniently, and without stress,” he said.

He added that the initiative underscores the bank’s approach to innovation and social impact: “Detty Fusion reinforces our commitment to uplifting the businesses and creative professionals who make the festive season special. This initiative reflects our dedication to enabling lifestyle experiences that go beyond traditional banking.”

Cultural economist, Dr. Fola Adebayo, noted that Access Bank is “filling a critical gap” by providing structure and curation within Nigeria’s booming December festivities.

“The December season has become a major cultural and economic moment in Nigeria. A platform that streamlines experiences, verifies providers, and promotes SMEs will boost consumer confidence and drive revenue in the creative sector,” she said.

In addition, Event industry analyst, Kunle Aderemi, said Detty Fusion could help small event organisers compete more favourably.

“Visibility is the biggest challenge for SMEs in the entertainment space. With Access Bank offering a trusted platform, smaller players can finally reach audiences that were previously out of reach,” he stated.
