Nigeria Public Relations Week 2026 Begins April 19 In Kaduna,Pre-Conference Webinar Set for Jan 29

Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) CROC CITY 2026 will be held in Kaduna from April 19 to 25, 2026, in partnership with the Kaduna State Government. The week-long event, themed “Nigeria’s Food Security: From Public Policy to Public Plates – The Imperatives of Public Relations,” will explore how public relations can address national challenges, from food security to policy communication and crisis management..
Ahead of the main event, the second pre-conference webinar, themed “Crisis Communication in Agricultural Value Chains: Managing Scarcity, Inflation, and Public Anxiety,” is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM (WAT). The session will provide participants with practical insights on managing public expectations during times of scarcity, rising prices, and public anxiety within the agricultural sector, while exploring strategies for effective crisis communication and stakeholder engagement.
Key speakers for the webinar include Dr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, President of NIPR, with Chief Yomi Badejo Okusanya (YBO) fnipr hosting and Chief Ify Onyegbule moderating. Abdulsamad Isah, Co-founder and COO of Extension Africa, will also share his expertise.
Dr. Monday Ashibogwu, Chair of the Training & Faculty Sub-Committee, explained that the webinar provides a crucial platform for PR professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and strategies for effective communication in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
