The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) is set to bring its annual gathering of industry leaders, creative minds, and experiential marketing professionals to the South-South geopolitical zone as it announces Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, as the destination for its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), slated for July 16 to 19, 2026.

The association urged members and stakeholders to act swiftly, noting that early bird registration is currently open but will close on June 25, 2026.

This year’s event will be held under the theme “Collaboration As Currency: Connect, Collaborate, Create”, a declaration that speaks to the growing importance of partnerships and shared purpose in driving the experiential marketing industry forward. The theme sends a clear message that working together is no longer optional but central to how agencies grow, deliver value, and shape the future of the industry.

In a post shared on its official Instagram page, EXMAN announced that the countdown is officially underway, describing the programme as an opportunity for three days of high-level insights, strategic networking, and industry-defining conversations.

EXMAN, the sectoral trade body for forward-looking experiential marketing communications agencies in Nigeria, exists to support, promote, and defend the interests of its member agencies. The association currently represents over 45 member agencies with total billings of over thirty billion naira, reflecting the commercial significance the industry holds within Nigeria’s broader marketing communications space.

The 2026 AGM builds on a strong record of impactful editions. Last year’s gathering in Lagos centred on the theme “Personalization and Scale: From Insights to Impact in a Data-Driven, Immersive World,” featuring thought leadership sessions, masterclasses, and a celebration of creative excellence. At that edition, EXMAN inducted three new agencies, with its president praising members for shaping a dynamic and forward-thinking sector. The move from a focus on personalisation to one on collaboration in 2026 reflects an industry that is growing in confidence and looking beyond individual performance toward collective progress.

Interested participants are advised to register before the early bird deadline of June 25, 2026, to secure a place at what promises to be a defining moment for Nigeria’s experiential marketing industry.
