Algorithm Media Clocks 10, Holds Grand Anniversary Event In Lagos, Jan 30

Some moments don’t just mark time—they redefine it. Such was the energy at the 10th anniversary press conference of Algorithm Media, Nigeria’s powerhouse media agency, where history merged with forward-thinking ambition.

At the press conference, Seni Adetu, Chief Executive Officer of First Primus, parent company of Algorithm Media, unveiled the theme of the 10th anniversary celebration: ‘Beyond The Rise.’ He disclosed that come Friday, 30th January 2026, at the agency’s 10th anniversary celebration, taking place at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, there’ll be the unveiling of what the future holds for the organisation.

Addressing the audience on Algorithm Media’s high points in the last decade, Mr Adetu said, “Over the last ten years, Algorithm Media has stood for innovation, for strategic partnership with our clients. We have not been operating like an agency that is just out to make briefs for our clients; we’ve been working like strategic partners with our clients with a view to helping them to build their brands such that their brands can be selected and used competitively against the rest of the market.”

Adetu went further to pride Algorithm Media’s success in being focused on engaging his workforce, the fulcrum of the agency’s progress. In his words, “There was not a single month in those 10 years that we couldn’t pay salaries, not a single month. In fact, there was never a time we said we are shifting it from the day we normally pay to another day. Everybody in the organisation knows when they expect their salaries.”

Revealing the category of people whom he was most proud of, he continued, “I’m most proud of who we built this with. Like whom? Like our staff, our employees, our clients. Like you, the media, our media partners and the industry regulators. I’m most proud of the people who have come together to build it with us. Because we are as good as the people supporting us.”

Adetu disclosed to media practitioners who converged to witness the brand’s impressive trajectory that the purpose of the conference was to formally unveil the 10th anniversary theme, provide insights and context on the significance of the celebration, and engage media partners ahead of the anniversary celebration. He added that the upcoming event would involve reflections on the journey, challenges, and milestones of the past decade; to appreciate clients, partners, media, and team members; reaffirming the brand’s commitment to excellence and integrity, and articulating the vision for Algorithm Media’s next decade.
