ADVAN Trustee, Aare Fatai Odesile, To Receive Highest Traditional Title In Ora Kingdom
Marketing communications veteran and trustee of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), Aare Fatai Odesile, is set to be conferred with the prestigious traditional title of Olookan of Ora Land during the maiden coronation ceremony of the King of Ora Kingdom in Kwara State.
According to a formal notification issued ahead of the event, the monarch informed members of the Odesile Dynasty and the wider Ora community of his decision to bestow the honour on Aare Fatai Odesile in recognition of his contributions, leadership, and standing within the kingdom.
The conferment ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 29 in Ora, Kwara State, during the forthcoming Muslim Sallah celebrations, specifically on the third day after Ileya.
The title of Olookan of Ora Land is regarded as the highest traditional chieftaincy title in the kingdom after the king, placing Aare Fatai Odesile next in hierarchy and command within the traditional structure of Ora Land.
The coronation ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries, traditional rulers, business leaders, family members, and well-wishers from across the country as the kingdom celebrates a significant moment in its history.
Fatai Odesile possess over 27 years professional expertise in the FMCG Industry. He has headed positions such as Managing Director, Commercial Director and Marketing Director; he was the former Managing Director & Chief Executive of Grand Oak Limited. While he worked in Nigeria Distilleries Limited, he won the “Best Manager, ” award in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Also in 2018, he was nominated for the “Lagos State Man of the Year” Award. He has held several leadership services including sitting on the Board of Trustees for different Associations, a member of prestigious professional bodies and the past President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria.
Fatai has vast experiences in fields cutting across Marketing, Sales, Strategy Development, Research, Customer Insight, Product Development and Quality assurance. He has a strong passion for leadership, strategic organisational restructuring and business development. He is a pace setter, articulate and passionate about result.
He holds a Bachelor of science from University of Ibadan, a master’s degree IN Marketing/Marketing Management, General at University of Lagos and a MBA in Finance for non-Finance Executives at Business School Netherlands.
