PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has appointed Oghenekevwe Ogefere as its new Company Secretary, effective June 29, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on June 29 and disclosed in a notice signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Oghale Elueni, to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), shareholders and the investing public.
Before her appointment, Ogefere served as Senior Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer at Nigerian Breweries Plc, where she oversaw legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
She brings more than 13 years of experience in company secretarial practice, corporate governance, legal advisory and regulatory compliance.
Ogefere holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Benin and is a member of the Nigerian Bar as well as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
The Board welcomed her appointment, expressing confidence that her experience in corporate governance and regulatory affairs would strengthen the company’s leadership and governance framework.
It also commended Alsec Nominees Limited for its service as Company Secretary, thanking the firm for its contributions during its tenure and wishing it success in its future endeavours.
