Brand Communicator can authoritatively confirm that Uche Ajene-Ayere has left the services of the Insight Redefini Group where she held the position of Managing Consultant of Quadrant MSL, its public relations agency.
As at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that Lead Consultant at the agency, Azubuike Anurika has taken over as the new ‘helmsman’. It is not known whether Azubuike’s appointment is permanent for now. Recall when Bolaji Okusaga, the erstwhile Managing Director of the agency left to float Precise Communication more than a year ago, Azubuike took the reins of leadership on a temporal basis before Ajene-Ayere was drafted to that position from Halogen Securities.
Although Ajene-Ayere is yet to disclose her next move, feelers from the grapevine has it that she will soon float her own reputation management outfit.
Meanwhile, a press release from Insight Redefini on the departure reads: “…Uche Ajene, Managing Consultant, departs the organisation in June 2019 when her initial contract ends, and will progress in pursuit of her personal career ambition. In the interim, Anurika Azubuike, Lead Consultant at the company will act as the Business Lead steering the affairs of the company in conjunction with the Group.
“Ajene, formerly Director of Marketing & Strategic Accounts at Halogen Security Limited, joined Quadrant MSL, both of Troyka Group, in March 2018 and was instrumental to the transitioning of the business into a Consultancy.
“Azubuike, who worked closely with Ajene to lead Quadrant MSL’s successful transformation, will continue in her role as Lead Consultant, and will take on the baton in driving the organization’s vision to remain the Leading Public Relations and Strategic Communications partner to varying client portfolios in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
“With a rich industry background and experience in driving business growth, Azubuike’s proven track record of advancing and delivering a profitable market share to organizations, will be fundamental to achieving the company’s future-forward agenda.
“The Board and Management of Quadrant MSL, as well as Insight Redefini, wish Ajene great success in her future endeavours.”
