Noah’s Ark Elevates Fred Akinmuyisitan As Deputy Director, Account Planning

Foremost creative advertising powerhouse, Noah’s Ark Communications has elevated Fred Akinmuyisitan from the position of Group Head, Account Planning to Deputy Director, Account Planning of the agency.
Prior to that, he was responsible for the overall development and leadership of the agency’s planning practice as the Group Head, Account Planning. In performing that role, he collaborated with the senior creative leadership team to grow existing businesses and win new ones.
In his new role, he will be helping clients find solutions to their business problems, and among others functions.
Amazingly,
before his journey into the advertising industry, Akinmuyisitan worked
as a researcher and feature writer for Brand Communicator Magazine,
Nigeria’s most prominent marketing communications journal, where he
provided editorial direction and critical analysis on issues in the
advertising community.
He
has cross industry experience in sectors such as technology, industrial
goods, pay TV, as well as an in depth understanding of the FMCG markets
in West Africa, and is the strategist behind the resurgence of the
Airtel brand in Nigeria.
Among his many
achievements at Noah’s Ark, he was influential in new business pitch
wins for the agency such as Airtel Nigeria, Peak Milk, Nigerite Plc.,
Travelstart Nigeria, Heritage Bank Limited, JAMZ FM, Noor Takaful, and
Nokia.
He also crafted the campaign narrative
and authored Nigeria’s first ever gold winning case study at the African
Cristal Awards 2017 in Marrakech, Boko Halal (Project Shoes). In 2018,
he was one of the Grand Jury members at New York Festivals, representing
Middle East and Africa region.
He is an award winning account planner at various global and regional advertising festivals including the Loeries, African Cristal, Epica Awards, and the Lagos advertising and Ideas Festival.
Akinmuyisitan studied food science and technology at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA. He recently attended Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University where he did a course on Senior Management Program (SMP 71) on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
