Eat ‘n’ Go Elevates Patrick McMichael To Group Managing Director

Eat ‘n’ Go Limited; Franchise Owners of Dominos Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery and Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt have elevated Patrick McMichael to the position of Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR). Prior to his new position he was the CEO of the company.

In his new role, he will be overseeing all the activities within the group and will further help the company achieve its goals in the Nigerian market.

McMichael joined Eat’N’Go as CEO in 2018, after nearly 30 years working with Domino’s. He started out as a trainee manager in Sydney, Australia in 1990, and then got promoted to area supervisor in 1992. For 10 years, he was a franchise owner of 10 Domino’s stores. He went on to become the Chief Development and Franchising Officer for Australia and New Zealand and CEO for Domino’s Pizza in Indonesia before taking over the role of CEO for Eat’N’Go in Nigeria.

Within a short time in Nigeria, McMichael has led Eat’N’Go to enviable heights within the market, making it one of the most vibrant. Significantly, since coming into the Nigerian market, Eat’N’Go has expanded to 107 outlets for its three brands – Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery and Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt – with five more under construction and another 16 going through the approval stage.

Remarkably, the Eat ‘n’ Go brands have been doing well in the market, with the launch of new stores across the country and staying profitable even in the midst of COVID-19 due to its consumer engagement and superb marketing strategies.

McMichael holds a Year 12 Graduate of All Saints College and also holds a Diploma of Hotel, Restaurant and Culinary, Hotel Restaurant and Culinary from the Santa Barbara City College.

He was awarded the CEO of year (QSR) at the prestigious 2020 Brandcom Awards among other notable awards.
