Abiodun Ajiborode Quits Coca Cola, Joins Monument Distillers As Marketing Director

Barely months after his announcement as Franchise Operations Director for Coca-Cola Nigeria, marketing communications professional, Abiodun Ajiborode has left the services of the global cola brand and pitched tent with Monument Distillers Nigeria Limited as Marketing Director.
In his new role, Ajiborode will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts for the brands in the company’s stables as well as evaluating and developing its marketing strategy, communications, among other functions.
He is not a stranger to this role as he had acted in a similar role for Coca-Cola Company as Acting Marketing Director, before now.
Ajiborode brings almost two decades of commercial experience into his new role with competencies spanning across business and marketing leadership, revenue growth management, Innovation Management, Creative thinking and Value Engineering, sale management and strategic business planning.
His professional journey has seen him in such positions as Head of Marketing and Sales for Grand Oak Limited; National Execution Excellence Manager at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company; Marketing Manager – Premium Brands at SABMiller; Senior Brand Manager – Fabric Care at PZ Cussons; Category Brand Manager at Promasidor and Associate Consultant at H.Pierson Associates, among others.
Abiodun holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School and a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), United Kingdom. He has also attended several executive training programmes at leading global institutions including Kellogg Business School, Harvard University, Cornell University and The Coca-Cola University.
