Kolawole Osinowo Elevated To CCO Of Jumia Ghana

Kolawole Osinowo, a consummate Customer Relationship Management professional, has been elevated to the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Jumia Ghana. Prior his new position, he was the Head, Key Account Management for Jumia Nigeria.
In his new role, he will be working closely with the CEO and other Heads of Department of the e-commerce giant to ensure the organization’s strategic goals, total customer satisfaction, and to ensure that performance objectives are met.
Kolawole’s wealth of experience cut across customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, project and programme management solutions selling, vendor management, and account management.
He joined Jumia Nigeria as Head of Category, Mobile and Computing before he was promoted to the Head, Key Account Management.
He started his career as an Oracle Applications/ Web Portal Developer at the Megatech Software Limited. He later joined TVQ Consulting Group as Software Architect, before leaving to join Contact Marketing Services.
Years after, he pitched tent with Nokia and left the organization as Head of Customer Care and Logistics, West and Central Africa before joining Microsoft as Senior Business Manager – West, Central Africa and Indian Ocean Islands.
He later moved to HMD Global as the Senior Business Manager, West Africa before joining Jumia Nigeria.
Kolawole holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering from Lagos State University; master’s in international business management University of Cumbria UK; Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Emeritus Institute of Management Singapore, and currently an MBA Candidate at Imperial College Business School London and MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris.
He has attended various executive training programs at Stanford Business School, Kellogg School of Management, Wharton Business School, New York University Stern Business School, GIBS South Africa, HKUST Business School Hong Kong and Oxford University Said Business School.
He was nominated twice (2008, 2010) as “Professional of the Year” at The Future Africa Awards and in 2013 he was recognized as one of the “Best 100 Young Persons” in Nigeria. He has been recognized as “New Leader for the Future” from the Crans Montana Forum. He is an Associate Fellow of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD) and Association for Talent Development.
