Iretiogo Oke Exits Samsung, Pitches Tent With ASUS As Head of Marketing
High-flying marketing communications professional, Iretiogo Oke has exited the services of Samsung Electronics where she was Head of Marketing, to pitch tent with electronics giants, ASUS, as Head of Marketing-English Speaking Africa (ESA).
In her new position, Iretiogo will be overseeing brand strategy and positioning for the English-Speaking Africa markets for the company; she will be responsible for driving the localization of ASUS global marketing strategy in the ESA region as well as leading the ESA marketing team in developing end-user integrated marketing communications for brand and revenue growth.
While she was at Samsung, Iretiogo was responsible for driving the overall marketing and communications strategy for Samsung Mobile and Consumer Electronics division.
The well-rounded marketing professional, has had over ten years across the IMC industry. She has managed global brands, launched new products, developed and executed marketing strategies while also managing trade marketing and consumer activations.
She began her career as a Brand Management Executive at Insight Communications Limited (now Insight Publicis). More than two years later, she left to join L’Oréal as an Assistant Marketing Manager. Afterwards, she left to join Japan Tobacco International (JTI) to the position of Brand Marketing and NPD Manager for West Africa. There, she was responsible for developing brand strategy and annual cycle plan for all brands within the JTI portfolio as well as managing new product development process from conceptualization to final product launch. She served in that capacity until her recent appointment.
Iretiogo who is also the CEO ProTouch Janitors is an alumna of the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University where she studied Strategic Marketing Management and the University of Lagos where she studied English Language.
