Ifeoma Jibunoh-Dozie Joins Liquid Intelligent Technologies As Group Chief Marketing Officer

One of Nigeria’s foremost marketing communications professionals, Ifeoma Jibunoh-Dozie has exited the services of American multinational financial services corporation, Mastercard Incorporated. She has has pitched tent with Liquid Intelligent Technologies as Group Chief Marketing Officer.

In her new position for Liquid Intelligent Technologies-a connectivity, innovation and intelligent technology company, Ifeoma will be expected to lead the charge in developing the marketing strategy and execution for corporate advertising and branding of the company across the 13 countries(markets) it operates, primarily in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa as it builds a digital future for Africa.

Ifeoma has over the years, proven to be a Commercial Director with a passion for winning, and a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. She has also proven to be a strong marketing professional skilled in Leadership, Business Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Marketing Strategy, Brand Building, Building High Performance Teams, Business development, Innovation, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).

Before her recent appointment, Ifeoma was the Director, Marketing & Communications SSA for Mastercard. Prior Mastercard, she was at Heineken, a company she joined since 2002 and stayed for most of her career. She joined the global beer brand as a Senior Brand Manager for Heineken, a position she held for four years. In 2007, she was elevated to the position of Marketing Manager – Non Alcoholic drinks where she developed and implemented marketing strategies and plans on advertising, media planning, sponsorship, and promotions as well as improved the equity growth, sales performance and profitability of the non-alcoholic drinks category in line with the company’s overall profit and portfolio objectives.

Four years later, she was elevated and moved to the Amsterdam office of the company as the Global Marketing Manager, Specialties. There, she developed the category vision, brand positioning, visual identity and communication strategies for a global Belgian specialty beer brand which was successfully launched across 30 markets. She also created 30 country toolkits to aid markets in the local execution of their marketing plans.

In 2014, she became the Brand Director for Mainstream Beers, a brand under Heineken, UK. There, she was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of marketing strategies for the company’s mainstream beer portfolio (namely Foster’s, Kronenbourg, Amstel and John Smith’s brands) in the United Kingdom including full P & L responsibility. She defined and shaped the culture of the marketing teams and development of wider teams as well as built high performing teams by delivering effective coaching and sustaining effective partnerships with external agencies.

Before leaving the company to join MasterCard, she worked on the global beer brand’s regional marketing efforts in Africa. There she was responsible for the development of strategic business plans and marketing capabilities for key markets within the Africa region, building winning portfolios in the region by assessing the strength of existing portfolios in certain markets and identifying new propositions that deliver incremental volume and value and assessing the feasibility, including the costs and benefit analysis of new business development initiatives.

Ifeoma who commenced her career at e-skills UK as a project office manager is an alumnae of the University of Bristol and King’s College, London where she obtain a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and LLM, International Business Law, respectively.
