Telecommunication giant, MTN Nigeria has elevated one of Nigeria’s foremost marketing professional Emamoke Ogoro to the position of General Manager, Brands and Communication.

Emamoke was elevated by the telecommunication brand from her position as Senior Manager, Brand Management. She joined the company in 2008 as Brand Manager, High Value Segment, rising through the ranks to become Senior Manager, Brands and Communication; Senior Manager, Segment Marketing and Senior Manager, Brand Management.

Emamoke is a passionate marketing and strategy expert with over a decade of experience spanning Business Strategy, Strategic Planning, Go-To-Market strategy, Consumer marketing, Corporate – Brand Strategy, Brand Management, Communication, Public Relations, and Stakeholder Engagement.

She has demonstrated abilities in translating corporate strategy into pivotal business/marketing initiatives that deliver on brand leadership, revenue, and market share growth. She is adept in Strategic planning, Critical thinking, Leadership, People Management, Conflict resolution, Budget planning, and Change management.

When she is not leading and executing yearly strategic plans, she’s delivering attention-grabbing strategic marketing campaigns such as “Saka Don Port” and “We Move. She loves exploring and experiencing behavioural economics, entrepreneurial leadership, adventurous holidays, and organic living.

Emamoke is an affiliate and member of various institutes – namely: the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delta State University, Nigeria, and an executive MBA from one of the “Top 20 Business Schools in the World”, the Nanyang Business School, Singapore. She’s had several Ivy league business training in Columbia, Wharton, Berkely, Cornell, and a Senior Management Program from Lagos business school, focusing on Strategy, Leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Innovation.
