Pan-Atlantic University has named Dr. Ngozi Okpara as The Acting Dean for the School of Media & Communications.
This was issued in a statement on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
She was appointed following the death of the erstwhile Dean, Dr. Mike Okolo.
The statement read, “We will admit that the past few days have been hard dealing with the demise of Dr. Mike Okolo. The leadership vacuum left by the passing of Dr. Okolo is very obvious and difficult to fill.
“There is a need to ensure operations continue at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University (SMC) with minimal disruptions.
“In this regard, the University Management Council has approved the appointment of Dr. Ngozi Okpara as Acting Dean of the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria with effect from today, June 9, 2022. We wish Dr. Okpara success in her new appointment.”
