Marketing Executive, Bodam Taiwo has joined Pernod Ricard, a global leader in wine and spirits, as its Head Of Portfolio, Bond & Connect, West Africa.
Bodam was until the new job the Premium Spirits Trade Marketing Manager (Brown-Forman Portfolio) at the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company where she provided strategic leadership to the company’s key operational processes while strategically partnering with stakeholders across all levels in the formulation and tracking of Marketing strategies at corporate and commercial levels.
Taking to her LinkedIn page to announce the new job, Bodam wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Portfolio, Bond & Connect, Western Africa at #Pernod Ricard.”
In her new role, Bodam will be responsible for achieving sales growth by building lasting and supportive business relationships with suppliers, distributors, and the company’s sales team.
She has 15+ years of cross-functional experience covering Brand management, strategic planning, and E-commerce across diverse sectors, Multinationals (FMCGs), and Telecommunication (within Nigeria and across SSA).
Bodam holds a BEng (Hons), Electronic Engineering from the University of Reading, England between 2002 and 2006. She then proceeded to University of Surrey, England, for an MSc, Mobile and Satellite Communications between the year 2009 and 2010.
In 2021, she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Inspiring Women in Africa by Leading Ladies Africa. She was also awarded as one of 12 Honorees making a difference to the world in the Future-Forward Female Folio.
