Timeless, the much-awaited album of Afrobeat Superstar, Davido amassed a million streams on Boomplay in just six hours after its release on Friday.
Also, the album is currently the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, and UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music.
While announcing the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages, he talked about the process he went through from his previous album to the latest and also appreciated his fans and the people who ensured the completion of the project.
Taking to his Twitter page, he wrote “At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least.”
Singles from the ‘Timeless’ album also topped Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
