Women in Out-Of-Home Advertising in Nigeria, WOHAN is set to hold its inaugural meeting scheduled for the 25th of July, 2023 in Lagos.
The meeting with the theme ‘Stronger Together’ according to the coordinator, Mrs. Adeola Odesanya, will also have discussions on the topic ‘Issues and Challenges of Women in Marketing Communication Especially Out of Home Advertising and the Way Out.’
“Our vision is to empower women in Out of Home advertising by creating an inclusive environment that recognises and amplifies their talents, leading to a more diverse and equitable industry,” she added.
Odesanya explained further that the association’s mission was to champion women in Out of Home Advertising by providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to promote their professional growth.
“Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we strive to break barriers, foster equality, and ensure equal opportunities for women to excel in the industry.
The Chief Executive Officer and Lead Consultant Ladybird Advertising Limited, Mrs. Bunmi Oke is the keynote speaker and she will be talking on the topic: “Women in OOH Media: Issues, Challenges and Prospects.
The logo of WOHAN is expected to be unveiled at the event.
