Access Bank, Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Donate Laptops To Federal Civil Service

Access Bank Plc, a leading financial institution in partnership with the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has donated 11 laptops to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation to improve operational efficiency within the Nigeria Civil Service.

In a statement said by the foundation, the donation aimed to bolster the Enterprise Workspace Management Solutions (E-WMS) Project, which utilised automation to optimise office space allocations within federal secretariat complexes, enhance team collaboration, and improve service delivery.

The project was part of the foundation’s partnership with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service to support reform initiatives aimed at transforming the public sector, the statement reads.

During the official presentation ceremony, the Director of Programmes, Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, Ms. Chioma Njoku, presented the laptops to the OHCSF.

The Permanent Secretary, Special Duties Office, Faruk Yabo, expressed gratitude for the support and emphasised the importance of private-public sector collaboration in the success of the E-WMS Project and the transformation of the civil service.

Other ongoing projects included the implementation of an Enterprise Content Management Solution to automate processes, the development of an e-learning platform for training, and the introduction of a performance management system to boost staff performance.
