Olawande Meyungbo Joins Promasidor As Media & Equity Manager

Marketing Communications professional, Olawande Meyungbo has joined FMCG giants, Promasidor Nigeria as a Media and Equity Manager.
Until his appointment, Meyungbo was the Manager, Account Management and Strategy for Digitas Nigeria where he was responsible for the management and leadership of key Nigerian Breweries accounts across digital media touchpoints while collaborating closely with the larger team.
He also served at Fidelity Bank Plc as the Digital Marketing Specialist where he managed the bank’s digital properties including the website, mobile app, and blog, and coordinated the social media presence, product launches, and other digital engagements. He also facilitated the strategic planning process of the hybrid launch of the “Fidelity Pay Yourself” product.
Meyungbo started his career at MRS Oil Nigeria as an Industrial Trainee before becoming Founder and Chief Editor and moved to Popularity Bar as the Founder and Chief Editor.
His foray into the IMC industry began at Starcom Media Perspective as Creative and Strategy Executive where he oversaw and led the digital team on the Samsung A Series device launch amplification from strategy to execution which helped grow the tech giant’s market share in Nigeria. Some other brands he managed while working with Starcom Media include Cloret, TomTom, Cadbury Hot Chocolate Drink, ARM Investments, UAC Food brands, Novartis, TGI brands, E & J. Gallo Winery, and Phillip Morris International, amongst others.
Meyungbo holds a Master of Business Administration and also a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons, Petroleum, and Gas Engineering from the University of Lagos.
