Chain Reactions Africa Fetes Media Executives, Promises More Magic For Indomie Noodles

Following its recent appointment as the new strategic communications and public relations consultant for Indomie Instant Noodles. Chain Reactions Africa has said that it will bring more magic to the brand.

The MD/Chief Strategist, Israel Opayemi revealed this last Thursday at the Chain Reactions Africa’s office, Ikeja, in a non-formal interactive meeting with selected members of the press.

According to him the partnership, which took effect on February 1, 2024, intends to first strengthen Indomie Noodles’ marketing leadership and build stronger emotional connections with consumers across the Nigerian market.

He said people should watch out for greater things with the brand. In his words, “Many consumers think they have seen it all from Indomie Instant Noodles, but they should watch out for more magic. The brand is coming out stronger and more activities to connect more with consumers.”

He said it is a commitment to delivering quality products and enriching the lives of consumers, Dufil Prima Foods Limited recognises the importance of breakthrough communications strategies that reach the hearts and move the wallets.

Speaking on the appointment, the Group Corporate Communications and Event general manager at Dufil Prima Foods Limited, Tope Ashiwaju said, “We know where we are coming from and the reason why we decided to port is strategically we felt that we needed to move very quickly because a brand needs to move with time. We looked at a lot of agencies and going by their track records, we felt very comfortable with the company Chain Reactions.

“A lot of people may think this decision was based on friendship, but it is more than that, there were over six people who sat on the decision. Even with things that the agency did not know about, we went that deep to ensure that we made the right choice.

“For us as a brand, we still consider ourselves as a growing brand in Nigeria, because we have not gotten to our final bus stop. By God’s grace, I have been with the Tolaram Group for over 18 years and still counting. I have done a lot, I feel humble each time people say Ashiwaju Indomie, partnership and all. I have paid some of my dues in the industry. I can say for a fact that the reward for good work is more work, that is what we keep doing with Indomie, for all the brands under the Tolaram Group.

“We strive every day to ensure that it is better for us. Anybody that comes in contact with our brands we want to make sure that such a person remains satisfied. That is why we said that our marriage with Chain Reaction is going to be a journey, long distance praying that when Israel hands over the next set of people will look back and say we have had this client for over 20 years. This means that we must be doing something right.

“Over the months and years, we will continue to inform Chain Reactions of our intentions. I am aware that you already know some of the things we do, but this time around, we are going to do it in a different and better way,” he concluded.

Indomie Instant Noodles Nigeria has had a lot of consumer engagement activities over the years, and one of them is hosting its annual Heroes Awards, where the bravest and most valiant of young and teenage Nigerians received national recognition and acclaim for heroic displays.
