The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced that it will be introducing a highly discounted start-up pass for small, innovative businesses to share their success stories, find new partnership and form world-class networks.

According to Cannes, “For over 70 years, the creative industry has converged at the Cannes Lions Festival to recognise groundbreaking work, set the industry conversation, and bring key decision-makers together in the pursuit of creativity that drives progress.

“That progress hasn’t happened without the innovative, ambitious new companies helping lead the way – changing the way things are done, revolutionising the way we work, and designing the tools and platforms for the next generation of creatives.

“With the refreshed Start-up pass, we’re helping more small independent businesses find their place at the Festival with part-subsidised passes for Cannes Lions 2024. If that’s your company, this is your moment to apply.”

“Available for up to five members of your team, the Start-Up Pass brings you all the benefits, insights, networking and learning of our Classic Pass (usually €4095) at a special rate of €1145 per pass plus tax.”

“Your Start-Up Pass helps put you and your business in front of the people that matter. Whether you’re building the next generation of creative tools, revolutionising the way we work or simply working to make the creative ecosystem better, one week at Cannes Lions could leave you with limitless new opportunitie.

“Build a world-class contact book and meet the decision-makers that matter at the industry’s biggest meet-up. As a delegate, you’ll get exclusive access to the Festival App, where you can arrange meetings and even reserve complimentary meeting space.”

The pass will give access to every talk and awards show in person on each day of the festival as brands including Amazon, Netflix, Microsoft and Reddit are all coming to Cannes Lions 2024.

The Festival helps give you an unparalleled view of what the world’s leading brands are looking for – and how you can be a part of it.

To be eligible, business needs to have been in corporated within the last 5 years – less than €5m total. To keep access fair, your company should be independent (i.e. not owned by another business or holding company) – and, of course, you should be involved in the creative ecosystem in some way.

Pass numbers are limited, so for the best chance of success, interested businesses should ensure that application is submitted by Friday 31 May 2024.

In addition, to avoid fee increase and have your efforts recognized on a global scale, candidates are required to submit their entries in the creativity awards before midnight of March 7.
