Sola Mosuro Makes 2024 Cannes Lions As Shortlisting Juror For Film Lions

Experienced creative egghead and the Group Creative Director of Mediafuse Dentsu Creative Agency, Sola Mosuro, has been named Shortlisting Juror for Film Lions at the prestigious 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a global event for those working in creative communications, advertising, and related fields, is billed to be held from 17-21 June 2024. It is considered the largest gathering in the advertising and creative communications industry.
Sola made the announcement of his appointment on his LinkedIn page, he wrote, “So delighted to finally able to announce that I’ll be part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Film Craft Jury. Looking forward to wows, OMGs, yays and nays, alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the industry.”
He is a Constant Writer, Amateur Artist, Sometimes Poet, One-Time-Attempted Rap Lyricist, Also Playwright, Retired-too-early Actor, Budding Director, Enthusiastic Lecturer and Bottomless Well of Creativity.
A lover of storytelling, he has freelanced as a content developer and associate producer with BBC World Service Trust and Moments with Mo.
He has created and scripted a 36-episode series for Africa Independent Television. Short story ‘The African Astronaut’ was shortlisted and produced for radio by the British Council Radiophonics project, etc.
Sola started his career as a CopyWriter at Cosse Joe Public before moving to Noah’s Ark Communications, where he served as Senior Copywriter, he moved to Centrespread where he served as the Group Head.
He has served as Deputy Creative Director at SO&U and Associate Director at 141 Worldwide Ltd.
Sola also channels his expertise in creativity to coaching, mentoring and building up the next generation of ‘Copy Gurus’, e.g. while leading from the front at Nitro121.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Lagos State University.
