Ahead of the maiden edition of Nigerian Soup Fest, the honourable Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy – Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, Guinness Record-breaking cooking superstar, Hilda Baci and other distinguished guests and dignitaries are set to grace the event.
This was revealed by the organisers of the event recently across its social media platforms.
Scheduled to take place by 11: am on May 19 at the Fidelity Bank Ground, Oniru, Victoria Island Lagos, the event is aimed at promoting Nigeria’s local dishes, culture, tourism and the unity of the country.
With the theme, “Celebrating Our Heritage”, the event will showcase about 111 pots of soups across the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital City of Abuja.
Attendees of the soup fest will savour rich cultural entertainments, and various traditional dances amongst other exciting activities.
The Nigerian Soup Fest is partnering with the Federal Ministry of Arts Culture and Creative Economy and the Lagos state Government.
The Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, will be the Chief host of the soup fest.
