Debbie Larry-Izamoje Appointed As CEO Of Brila Media Group

Sports media & broadcast executive, Debbie Larry-Izamoje, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brila Media Group.

This comes after 4 years of her tenure as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and 9 years working in the company. With a visionary approach, she transformed Brila FM into Brila Media, a full-scale multimedia group with interests in broadcasting, digital services, printing, and consultancy, significantly expanding its digital footprint and building a vibrantly engaged community.

In her new role, Debbie will be responsible for steering the growth and sustainability of the Brila Media brand while setting industry standards in sportainment across the continent. She will also be leading at the forefront of technological and digital advancements in AI to revolutionize media production, audience engagement, and content monetization and building a culture of excellence within the organization, empowering teams to drive creativity, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Debbie has been recognized for her impactful leadership and contributions to the sports media industry. She won the Future Awards for Intrapreneurship in 2024, was named COO of the Year, Sports Media by C-Suite Insider, United Kingdom, and became the youngest woman in sports to be recognised as a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing, Nigeria.

She holds a BSc in Information Management from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. And MSc in Management from the University College London (UCL). With Certificates in Innovation and strategy from Harvard University and user innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
