Adefisayo Akinsanya Joins FBNQuest Merchant Bank As Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications

Adefisayo Akinsanya, a brand transformation leader has joined FBNQuest, one of Nigeria’s most respected merchant banking institutions as Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.
In her new role, she will handle the strategic positioning of the merchant bank, ensuring the brand reflects excellence, trust, and innovation, while driving measurable business impact and meaningful connections with stakeholders.
Prior to her position, Adefisayo was Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc where she was in charge of strategic planning and execution of marketing and communication initiatives.
Adefisayo specialize in shaping corporate narratives, mitigating risks, and enhancing stakeholder trust. With deep expertise in strategic communications, reputation management, and brand leadership, she helps organizations navigate complex challenges while ensuring brand resilience and long-term value.
Her experience spans corporate affairs, media strategy, crisis management, and risk mitigation, aligning brand reputation with business objectives and regulatory expectations. She has successfully led high-stakes crisis communication efforts, strengthened stakeholder confidence, and positioned organizations as industry leaders. Personally, she has been honoured as Most Outstanding Marketing Professional award from Women in Marketing & Communications – (WIMCA 2022).
She started her career at Fidelity Bank handling Brand and Communications. She then moved to the position of Risk Manager and Product Manager, Retail loans. She also served at Accion Microfinance Bank as Branding and Product Sales Manager, before climbing the ladder to Corporate Branding and Digital Communications Manager and then Head, Marketing Communications.
Adefisayo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Crawford University as well as a an MBA in Management from University of Lagos.
