For almost a decade, Pepsi, one of Nigeria’s popular cola drinks, has always brought music, vibes, and unforgettable performances to the Big Brother Naija reality TV shows during its tasks. The 10/10 season was no different as the brand once again set the house buzzing with creativity, energy, and fashion flair.
Pepsi task, tagged ‘Refresh the streetz’, arguably one of the most colourful and entertaining challenges of the season, was the 18th brand task of the season.
The brand curated the task to connect with viewers as the housemates performed some songs from popular Nigerian musicians and Pepsi’s long-standing ambassadors like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, and Tekno.
Housemates grouped themselves into four teams: Team Gbese, Team Jaye Jaye,Team Oleku, and Team Oblee. Each tasked to deliver a performance centered on the themes: Lyrics, Vibes, and Fashion.
The task tested their teamwork, creativity, and knowledge of Nigerian music and dancing abilities.
The stage was set with props, outfits, and a full chance to wow both Big Brother and the viewers with their talent, teamwork, and stage presence.
Each team brought its unique touch to the stage, but one group stood out above the rest. Some got the dance, while some got their lyrics well.
At the end of the electrifying performances, Team Oleku (Jason, Joanna, Dede, Zita, and Bright) emerged as the winners of the Pepsi Task.
Their presentation ticked all the boxes of the task requirements – they delivered solid lyrics, kept the audience pumped with vibe-filled dance moves, and topped it all with a sense of fashion that was both stylish and captivating.
From start to finish, Team Oleku kept the energy alive, singing their hearts out, moving seamlessly to the beats, and making use of all the props provided on stage.
Their coordination, creativity, and ability to balance music, dance, and style set them apart, earning them a well-deserved victory.
Pepsi Task was curated not just to highlight the housemates’ creativity, but also to serve as a reminder of how music and fashion go hand in hand to create unforgettable moments.
