Team Heritage Emerges Victorious In BBNaija 16th Brand Task

Haier Thermocool, one of the sponsors of BBNaija season 10 sponsors, challenged the 10/10 housemates to an intense yet fun task. This is the 16th brand task of the reality show.
The brand task which tested the strength, teamwork, creativity, and mental agility of the housemates brought thrilling moments, intense competition, and a spectacular display of energy and determination.
The brand curated the task to shine the spotlight on the effectiveness, functionality, efficiency and income saving capabilities of its products like washing machine, refrigerator, Air conditioner, gas cooker, micro wave and television.
The brand also revealed to the viewers how it products eases house chores, enhances standard of living, gives affordable lifestyle of luxury with affordable prices.
The housemates were divided into four teams, each representing a Haier Thermocool product category: Team Power Saver, Team Fresh Vibes, Team Heritage and Team Gen Power
The housemates showcased their abilities across a series of games in Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the challenge.
Phase 1 was a Battle of Wits, Speed, and Accuracy. It was divided into four exciting games, Pop the Balloon Challenge, Clothing Transport, Positioning Challenge and Jigsaw Puzzle, each with unique rules and point systems.
The Pop the Balloon Challenge tested balance and control, as housemates carefully navigated balloons without losing their focus. To play the game, the teams were provided with different colours of balloons, a pin and storybook. Each team chose two representatives, one to read a story and the other to pop the right colour of balloon. Team Heritage took the early lead with 20 points, closely followed by Power Saver and Genpal with 18 points each, while Fresh Vibes settled for 16 points.
For the Clothing Transport challenge. The housemates were given a hamper with one duvet, three T-shirts, and one bedsheet four Haier Thermocool washing machines. The teams chose three representatives and these representatives transported the clothing items from the hamper to their Haier Thermocool washing machine using only one leg on the path. It was a thrilling race of speed and balance. By the end of this round, Team Heritage maintained dominance, moving up to 40 points, while Gen Power trailed with 33 points, Power Saver with 28 points, and Fresh Vibes with 21 points.
The third game, positioning challenge, rewarded accuracy, granting +2 points for correct placements and deducting -2 for wrong moves. To play the game, the housemates were given a hamper with different fruits, a crate of drinks, a carton of chicken and four Haier Thermocool refrigerators. The teams also chose three representatives who conveyed these items on their palms to the fridge and shout one less thing to worry about. Here, Heritage and Gen Power were neck-and-neck, both reaching 55 points, while Power Saver rose to 39 points and Fresh Vibes to 33 points.
Jigsaw Puzzle, the last game in this phase was the ultimate test of focus and mental sharpness. To play the game, a reference image was provided on a screen, each team have five minutes to replicate it on the board. With two nominated players from each team, they raced against time to solve the jigsaw puzzle on time. Heritage once again shone brightest, ending Phase 1 at the top with 75 points, ahead of Gen power (60 points), Power Saver (49 points), and Fresh Vibes (48 points).
The second phase of the game which was a presentation raised the stakes even higher. Each team had 5 minutes to give detailed information, on effectiveness, efficiency, capabilities and Every team pushed their limits, but it was Team Heritage’s consistency that sealed their victory.
At the end of Phase 2, the scoreboard stood as follows:
Team Heritage – 80 points
Team Genpal – 70 points
Team Power Saver – 69 points
Team Fresh Vibes – 63 points
With an impressive performance across all phases, Team Heritage comprising Joanna, Mensan, Ivatar, Bright, Sultana, and Isabella emerged the overall winners of the Haier Thermocool Task.
They worked seamlessly as a team and showed resilience, intelligence, and strategy throughout the competition.
