Prominent Nigerian business leaders and power couple, Dr. Victor Gbenga Afolabi and Dr. Adetutu Gbenga Afolabi, have successfully earned their Doctorate Degrees in Business Administration (DBA) from the prestigious Hult International Business School, Boston.

The couple pursued their doctoral studies in Entrepreneurship, focusing on mastering critical areas such as management, financial decision-making, and risk analysis, a strategic step aimed at enhancing their leadership capacity and driving innovation across their respective industries.

Celebrating the milestone on her Instagram page, Dr. Adetutu Gbenga Afolabi, Managing Director of Wellness Group, described the achievement as a shared journey of perseverance and partnership.

“We became parents. We started a business together. We raised toddlers who are now teenagers with even bigger dreams. We both pursued our PhDs side by side, typing through long nights and reviewing each other’s research. This journey demanded courage, discipline, and faith, but above all, it was about building something meaningful, together,” she wrote.

Adetutu, a pharmacy graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University and an alumna of the Lagos Business School, has led Wellness Group to become a key player in Nigeria’s healthcare sector. Her leadership continues to inspire many women in business who seek to balance professional growth with family and purpose.
