Brand Communicator Reaffirms Industry Leadership With 5th LaPRIGA Win, Emerges Marketing Communication Magazine Of The Year

Brand Communicator magazine has once again reaffirmed its position as Nigeria’s foremost marketing communications publication, clinching the Marketing Communication Magazine of the Year award at the landmark 10th Lagos Public Relations Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA) held over the weekend at the prestigious MUSON Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The prestigious recognition, presented by the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), marks Brand Communicator’s fifth LaPRIGA win, extending a legacy of excellence that has seen the publication dominate the category since 2017. The award reaffirms the magazine’s unrivaled commitment to professional standards, industry leadership, and impactful journalism in Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications landscape.

According to the Lagos NIPR, the award represents the highest recognition of excellence in journalism, acknowledging Brand Communicator’s sustained commitment to upholding professional standards in publishing and journalism that inform, entertain, and educate while engaging minds, building relationships, influencing marketing decisions, and impacting the future.

Prior now, Brand Communicator received the LaPRIGA PR Magazine of the Year Award from NIPR Lagos State chapter for a record four consecutive years, establishing an unprecedented streak of recognition at the industry’s most prestigious awards platform.

The magazine’s dominance at LaPRIGA mirrors its broader recognition across Nigeria’s marketing communications ecosystem. Brand Communicator’s writers have also won at the LaPRIGA with its Publisher, Joshua Ajayi and Deputy Editor, Jeremiah Agada winning Journalist of the Year recognitions; its writers also receiving multiple wins at the African Awards for Marketing Excellence organized by the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) for Brand Journalist of the Year since 2018, and consecutive (multiple) wins at every edition of the Nestlé Nigeria Media Awards since inception, among others.
