Chain Reactions, Integrated Indigo, Campaigns From Nigeria Dominate 2026 SABRE Nomination List

Nigerian public relations agencies and campaigns from the country have emerged the dominant forces in the 2026 Africa SABRE Awards. Chain Reactions Africa and Integrated Indigo made an impressive show across multiple categories in the prestigious competition.

The 2026 Africa SABRE Awards shortlist, comprising over 120 campaigns selected from more than 500 entries, showcases the strength and creativity of Africa’s PR and communications industry. The campaigns were evaluated by a jury of industry leaders and recognised Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement.

Chain Reactions Africa emerged as the standout performer, securing nominations across several high-profile categories, including a coveted spot in the Company of the Year category for the “Premier League Trophy Tour” campaign with Guinness Nigeria.

The agency also dominated the Superior Achievement in Measurement and Evaluation category with “The Vibranium” campaign for T2, demonstrating excellence in data-driven communications.

In the regional Western Africa category, Chain Reactions Africa secured three nominations: “From Promises To Proofs” for The Presidency, Show Some Love To Mum” for Indomie, Standing for Climate Action. Repping the Future” for C40 Cities and Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources.

The agency’s prowess extended to specific industry sectors, with nominations in: Marketing to Consumers (Existing Product): “Deeply Rooted” for Orijin, Public Sector/Government: “From Promises To Proofs” for The Presidency, Technology: “The Vibranium” for T2 and Travel & Leisure: “Lagos Shopping Festival” for Lagos State (Winner category)

Additionally, Chain Reactions Africa received a nomination in Reputation Management for “A Symphony Of Voices” with 9mobile.

Integrated Indigo showcased its versatility with nominations spanning multiple practice areas and industry sectors: In Corporate Social Responsibility, the agency earned two nominations: “Nigerian Bottling Company’s Youth Empowered” and Women on Wheels” for Lafarge

The agency also secured nominations in: Marketing to Consumers (New Product): “Launching Nigeria’s 1st Low Carbon Concrete” for Lafarge, Financial Communications: “A $50 Million Investment Story” for Lagos Free Zone and Industrial/Manufacturing: Two nominations, including “Nigerian Bottling Company’s rPET Collection Hub” and “Women on Wheels” for Lafarge.

Other Nigerian agencies made their mark. Red Media Africa earned recognition in the Media Relations category for the “Super Falcons WAFCON Trophy Tour” campaign with Nigeria Breweries, as well as a nomination in the Mining sector for Segilola Resources Operations.

CMC Connect secured a nomination in the Media, Arts & Entertainment sector for the “Ilorin innovation hub Art Hackathon” with IHS Nigeria.

Image Merchants Promotion received a prestigious Diamond SABRE nomination in the “CEO of the Year” category for “Impactful PR in Customs Service” with the Nigeria Customs Service. The agency also won in the Crisis/Issues Management category for “War Against Drug Abuse” with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA.

The 2026 Africa SABRE Awards will take place on March 17 in South Africa at The Venue Melrose Arch. This year, PRovoke Media has partnered with PRCA to host the SABRE Awards alongside PRCA’s South Africa conference.

The strong showing by Nigerian agencies across multiple categories underscores the country’s growing influence and creative excellence in Africa’s communications industry, positioning Nigeria as a hub for innovative and impactful public relations and marketing campaigns.

The SABRE Awards recognise Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement across Africa, celebrating the continent’s most effective communications campaigns and practitioners.
