One of the most anticipated gatherings in Nigeria’s marketing communications calendar, the National Advertising Conference (NAC) 2026 is set to take place from November 11 to 13, 2026, in Abuja.

Now in its 6th edition, the conference will focus on repositioning the advertising and marketing communications industry for the next frontier, with the theme “Repositioning the Marketing Communications Industry for the Next Frontier.”

Organised by the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the conference will convene stakeholders from across the marketing communications ecosystem, including agencies, brand custodians, media organisations, regulators, and marketing professionals, to examine how the industry can evolve in response to rapid technological shifts, changing consumer behaviour, and the growing demand for innovation in brand communication.

With the theme centred on repositioning the sector, the conference is expected to provide a strategic platform for dialogue on industry reforms,  talent development, and new business models that can position Nigeria’s marketing communications sector for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

Industry bodies, including the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), and the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN), are expected to participate, alongside other key organisations representing different segments of the marketing communications value chain.

According to the organisers, the registration for the conference is now officially open, with organisers encouraging early sign-ups through a limited early bird offer.

After the early bird window closes, the regular registration period will run from June 1 to October 31, 2026, and the late registration window from November 1 to November 13, 2026, will also be available for last-minute participants.

The organisers say the early bird offer is designed to encourage early commitment from professionals eager to engage in conversations that will shape the future of the industry.

The National Advertising Conference has become one of the most important annual gatherings for Nigeria’s marketing communications industry, providing opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across agencies, brands, media platforms, and regulatory institutions.

This year’s edition is expected to attract some of the industry’s most influential voices, who will explore how the sector can adapt to emerging realities while strengthening its relevance in Nigeria’s evolving economic and digital landscape.
