The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Lagos State Chapter, has called on its members to intensify preparations ahead of the 2026 Nigerian Public Relations Week, scheduled to begin on April 19 in Kaduna State.

The chairman of the chapter, Samuel Ayetutu, made the call as part of efforts to ensure strong representation from Lagos at the annual industry gathering.

The event, “CROC CITY 2026,” is expected to bring together public relations professionals, scholars, policymakers, and industry stakeholders from across the country for a week of knowledge exchange, networking, and professional development.

Ayetutu described the Nigerian Public Relations Week as a critical platform for advancing professional excellence and shaping the future of the practice.

He noted that the Lagos Chapter, widely regarded as the Premier Chapter, must maintain a visible and active presence.

He urged members to finalise their travel plans and complete necessary logistics ahead of the event, stressing that early preparation would ensure seamless participation.

The Chairman also encouraged members yet to register to do so promptly, describing attendance as a strategic investment in professional growth and continued relevance in an evolving communication landscape.

He added that beyond networking opportunities, the conference would expose participants to emerging trends, cutting-edge insights and best practices essential for navigating today’s dynamic public relations environment.
