Inspector-General Of Police To Deliver Keynote At PRFEST 2026 Grand Finale

The Inspector-General of Police will deliver the keynote address at the grand finale of PRFEST 2026, the annual conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter, scheduled for Thursday, July 9, at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
The conference, themed “Security, Nation Building and Public Trust: Fostering Collective Responsibility through Strategic Public Relations,” will bring together public relations professionals, policymakers and other stakeholders to examine the role of strategic communication in strengthening national security, promoting nation-building and enhancing public trust.
The keynote address will be complemented by panel discussions featuring distinguished experts, who will explore how strategic public relations can foster collaboration, strengthen public confidence and support sustainable national development.
Organisers described the conference as the flagship event of PRFEST 2026, noting that it provides a platform for learning, networking and exchanging ideas on emerging issues shaping the public relations profession and the country’s communication landscape.
The Lagos State Chapter of the NIPR encouraged members to participate in the event, describing it as an opportunity to contribute to conversations that will shape the future of the profession while reinforcing professionalism and unity among practitioners.
The chapter’s Annual General Meeting will be held immediately after the conference at the same venue.
