WPP Media has promoted Arpit Singh to the position of Vice President – Strategy, marking a new step in his career at the global media and marketing services company’s international operations network.

The elevation was confirmed via an update to Singh’s LinkedIn career section, which shows he is moving into the role this August 2026.

Singh joined WPP Media nine months ago as Partner–Strategy in December 2025, before being elevated to his current position. His swift rise within the company reflects a broader pattern in his career, which spans more than 15 years across media planning, brand strategy, research and business development.

Before joining WPP Media, Singh spent two years at Starcom as Senior Director–Strategy, where he led media strategy for new business pitches as well as existing client accounts.

Earlier in his career, Singh held leadership positions at several other agencies and organisations, including m/SIX, MyGate, iProspect, Mindshare, Lodestar Universal, Madison World, NDTV and Marketology. He began his professional journey as a media planner at GroupM in 2011.

Over the course of his career, Singh has worked across a range of sectors, handling brand strategy, media planning and client servicing for multiple accounts and industries.

WPP Media is part of WPP, one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing services groups, with a significant footprint across media planning, buying and strategy functions globally.

Singh’s appointment adds to a series of leadership movements across the media and marketing industry in recent months, as agencies continue to reshape their strategy functions to meet evolving client demands.
