Dochase ADx has unveiled Retain AI, an artificial intelligence-powered advertising platform designed to revolutionise targeted advertising by helping businesses identify potential customers, develop tailored campaigns and improve advertising efficiency.

The platform was launched at the Brandcom Awards 2026, held over the weekend at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Speaking with journalists at the launch, Chibike Goodnews, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dochase and Retain AI, said the platform was developed to address the challenges businesses face in understanding their customers and reaching the right audiences through advertising.

According to him, Retain AI leverages artificial intelligence to analyse a business’s products, target market and customer needs, providing insights that enable advertisers to make more informed campaign decisions.

He explained that users can submit their business websites and social media handles to the platform, which analyses their offerings, identifies four ideal customer profiles, explains why those customers might be interested in their products and recommends strategies for reaching them.

Goodnews said Retain AI goes beyond conventional advertising dashboards by providing actionable customer insights to help businesses understand their audiences and develop more effective advertising strategies.

“Anybody can spin up dashboards, anybody can spin off things, but can you spin up the learnings? Can you spin up the fast improvement? Can you spin up the intelligence and all that?” he asked.

He noted that access to reliable customer intelligence was increasingly important for businesses seeking to maximise their advertising budgets, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises that may lack the resources to conduct extensive market research or maintain large marketing teams.

Goodnews said Retain AI was designed to lower the barriers preventing businesses from taking advantage of digital advertising, particularly those operating with limited marketing budgets.

He disclosed that businesses could begin advertising campaigns with budgets ranging from N30,000 to N50,000, while prospective users could access a seven-day trial to evaluate the platform.

According to him, the platform focuses on identifying relevant audiences and directing advertisements towards potential customers rather than targeting broad audiences without sufficient consideration of their interests and needs.

He said this approach would enable businesses to make more strategic advertising decisions by aligning their campaigns with the needs, interests and potential purchasing behaviour of their target customers.

Goodnews added that the platform was designed to simplify audience identification and campaign planning, giving businesses a clearer understanding of whom they wanted to reach and how best to communicate the value of their products.

The launch of Retain AI reflects the growing application of artificial intelligence in the advertising industry, as businesses increasingly seek technology-driven solutions to improve audience research, campaign planning and marketing efficiency.

By analysing information from a business’s existing digital platforms, Retain AI is designed to simplify the process of identifying customer segments and developing advertising strategies tailored to their needs.

Goodnews said Dochase’s broader objective was to help businesses better understand their products, identify the customers most likely to purchase them and determine the most effective ways to reach those audiences.

He noted that combining customer intelligence with targeted advertising could help businesses make more informed decisions about how they allocate their marketing resources.

Beyond its current advertising capabilities, Goodnews disclosed that Dochase was exploring additional innovations in gaming and user-generated content as part of its broader technology development plans.

He also said the company was exploring ways to help businesses and advertising agencies determine whether their advertising expenditure was translating into improved campaign outcomes.

According to him, the initiative is aimed at strengthening accountability in advertising by helping brands and their agencies assess campaign performance against expectations.

On the implications of artificial intelligence for the advertising industry, Goodnews urged marketing professionals to embrace the technology and learn how to apply it to their work.

He argued that AI could reduce the time spent on repetitive manual tasks, allowing professionals to concentrate on strategy, decision-making, creativity and delivering greater value to customers.

He maintained that the growing adoption of AI should encourage professionals to improve their skills and explore new ways of working rather than view the technology solely as a threat to employment.

With the launch of Retain AI, Dochase ADx is positioning itself to expand access to AI-powered customer intelligence and targeted advertising, offering businesses a technology-driven approach to identifying potential customers, refining campaigns and navigating an increasingly competitive digital advertising landscape.
